01 Shall We Gather At The River

Shall we gather at the river, Where bright angel feet have trod,

With its crystal tide forever Flowing by the throne of God?

Refrain:

Yes, we’ll gather at the river,

The beautiful, the beautiful river;

Gather with the saints at the river

That flows by the throne of God.

On the margin of the river, Washing up its silver spray,

We will walk and worship ever, All the happy golden day.

Refrain:

Yes, we’ll gather at the river,

The beautiful, the beautiful river;

Gather with the saints at the river

That flows by the throne of God.

Coro

¡Oh! sí, nos congregaremos

en la ribera hermosa del río

cuyas aguas vivas dimanan

Coro

¡Oh! sí, nos congregaremos

en la ribera hermosa del río

cuyas aguas vivas dimanan

del trono de nuestro Dios.

¡Oh! sí, nos congregaremos

en la ribera hermosa del río

cuyas aguas vivas dimanan

del trono de nuestro Dios.

02 Unidos, Unidos

04 What a friend we have in Jesus / ¡Oh, qué amigo nos es Cristo!

What a friend we have in Jesus,

All our sins and griefs to bear!

What a privilege to carry

Everything to God in prayer!

Oh, what peace we often forfeit,

Oh, what needless pain we bear,

All because we do not carry

Everything to God in prayer!

Have we trials and temptations? Is there trouble anywhere?

We should never be discouraged—

Take it to the Lord in prayer.

Can we find a friend so faithful

Who will all our sorrows share?

Jesus knows our every weakness;

Take it to the Lord in prayer.

Si no estás reconciliado

Dios no escucha la oración

Dios no escucha la oración

Si no estás reconciliado

Esta iglesia es un jardin

Y los miembros son las flores

Esta iglesia es un jardin

Y los miembros son las flores

Y Jesus es jardinero

Y Jesus es jardinero

Que cosecha las mejores

Y Jesus es jardinero

Y Jesus es jardinero

Que cosecha las mejores

06 Wake Now My Senses

1 Wake, now, my senses, and hear the earth call;

feel the deep power of being in all;

keep, with the web of creation your vow,

giving, receiving as love shows us how.

2 Wake, now, my reason, reach out to the new;

join with each pilgrim who quests for the true;

honor the beauty and wisdom of time;

suffer thy limit, and praise the sublime.

3 Wake, now, compassion, give heed to the cry;

voices of suffering fill the wide sky;

take as your neighbor both stranger and friend,

praying and striving their hardship to end.

4 Wake, now, my conscience, with justice thy guide;

join with all people whose rights are denied;

take not for granted a privileged place;

God’s love embraces the whole human race.

5 Wake, now, my vision of ministry clear;

brighten my pathway with radiance here;

mingle my calling with all who will share;

work toward a planet transformed by our care.

Arise, take the young Child and His mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I bring you word; for Herod will seek the young Child to destroy Him. - Matthew 2:13b

Jesus of Nazareth, you destroyed the border

between humanity and divinity to be with us

to be born homeless in Bethlehem,

to be a refugee running for your life;

to be a migrant in the land of Egypt.

We ask your blessing on all migrants and refuges

Be with those who seek to cross borders in our time. May they find a welcome and a place of safety.

Jesus, Healer of all ills, you mend the body and soul,

Be with those who are sick as they seek a new life,

Be with those traveling with unset bones, open sores,

Unmanaged pregnancies, be with the malnourished traveler

All of them, unable or afraid to seek care.

We pray for the many others whose footsteps are hidden with yours.

Move us into their path that we may care for them as you would have us do.

Knowing that it is you we care for as we care for your migrant mother and father, brother

ser un refugiado que corre por tu vida;
