Reading 1/ Lectura 1

In December 2025, millions lost healthcare due to the loss of healthcare subsidies, "procedural churn" and the "Great Disenrollment". We gather to affirm that all human lives have value.

All: Let us see the face of the Creator in the face of the stranger.

Song 1: Amazing Grace / Sublime Gracia

Sublime gracia del Señor,

de muerte me libró.

Perdido fui, me rescató;

fui ciego, me hizo ver.

Mi corazón enterneció,

mis dudas disipó.

Preciosa fue la hora en que

rendí mi vida a él.

Jesús promete darme el bien;

confío siempre en él.

Mi protector y guía fiel

me llevará al hogar.

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound

That saved a wretch like me!

I once was lost, but now am found;

Was blind, but now I see.

Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,

And grace my fears relieved;

How precious did that grace appear,

The hour I first believed.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.” (Matthew 25:35)

“Porque tuve hambre, y me disteis de comer; tuve sed, y me disteis de beber; fui forastero, y me recogisteis.” (Mateo 25:35)

Reading 2 / Lectura 2

This month, food was used as a political weapon, threatening the hunger of families in "non-compliant" states. We stand for the sacred right to bread.

Song 2: Let There Be Peace On Earth

Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me;
Let there be peace on earth,
The peace that was meant to be.

With God as our Father
We are family,
Let us walk with each other
In perfect harmony.

Let peace begin with me,
Let this be the moment now;
With every step I take,
Let this be my solemn vow:
To take each moment and live each moment
In peace eternally.
Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me.
            Repeat 1X

“Que hace justicia a los agraviados, que da pan a los hambrientos. Jehová liberta a los cautivos.” (Salmos 146:7)

Reading 3/ Lectura 3

The designation of fentanyl as a "Weapon of Mass Destruction" has blurred the lines between health and war, often targeting the vulnerable. We seek a path of healing.

Song 3: Make Me A Channel of Your Peace

Make me a channel of Your peace
Where there is hatred, let me bring Your love
Where there is injury, Your pardon Lord
And where there's doubt, true faith in You

Make me a channel of Your peace
Where there's despair in life, let me bring hope
Where there is darkness, only light
And where there's sadness, ever joy

Oh Master, grant that I may never seek
So much to be consoled as to console
To be understood as to understand
To be loved as to love with all my soul

Make me a channel of Your peace
It is pardoning that we are pardoned
In giving to all men that we receive
And in dying that we're born to eternal life

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment.” (1 John 4:18)

“En el amor no hay temor, sino que el perfecto amor echa fuera el temor; porque el temor lleva en sí castigo.” (1 Juan 4:18)

Reading 4/ Lectura 4

In late December, plans were signaled to prioritize real estate and military interests over the self-determination of the suffering. We pray for the sovereignty of the soul.

Song 4: Danos Un Corazon

Danos un Corazón Grande para amar
Danos un Corazón Fuerte para luchar

Hombres nuevos, creadores de la historia
Constructores de nueva humanidad
Hombres nuevos que viven la existencia
Como riesgo de un largo caminar

Danos un corazón, grande para amar
Danos un corazón, fuerte para luchar

Hombres nuevos, luchando en esperanza
Caminantes, sedientos de verdad
Hombres nuevos sin frenos ni cadenas
Hombres libres que exigen libertad

Danos un corazón, grande para amar
Danos un corazón, fuerte para luchar

Hombres nuevos, amando sin fronteras
Por encima de razas y lugar
Hombres nuevos al lado de los pobres
Compartiendo con ellos techo y paz

Danos un corazón, grande para amar
Danos un corazón, fuerte para luchar

“But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!” (Amos 5:24)

“Pero corra el juicio como las aguas, y la justicia como impetuoso arroyo.” (Amós 5:24)
