Opening Prayer / Oración de apertura

I. The Weight of Justice / El Peso de la Justicia

Leader: We look upon a month where national leaders focus on political loyalty while neglecting the weightier matters of the law—justice, mercy, and faithfulness.

People: We answer the call to open our mouths for those who cannot speak, to judge righteously, and to defend the rights of the poor and the destitute.

All: We reject laws that deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed.

Scripture / Escritura: "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others." — Matthew 23:23 (ESV)

— Mateo 23:23 (NBLA)

Song / Canción: Amémonos de Corazón

Amémonos de corazón

No de labios, ni de oídos

Amémonos de corazón

No de labios, ni de oídos

Para cuando Cristo venga

Para cuando Cristo venga

Nos encuentre preparados

Para cuando Cristo venga

Para cuando Cristo venga

Nos encuentre preparados

¿Cómo puedes tu orar

Enojado con tu hermano?

¿Cómo puedes tu orar

Enojado con tu hermano?

Dios no escucha la oración

Dios no escucha la oración

Si no estás reconciliado

Dios no escucha la oración

Dios no escucha la oración

Si no estás reconciliado

Me gustan a mí

Me gustan a mí

Me gustan a mí

Me gustan a mí

Song / Canción: Un Día a la Vez

      Musica

Necesitado

Me encuentro, Señor

Ayúdame a ver, yo quiero saber

Lo que debo hacer

Muestra el camino

Que debo seguir

Señor, por mi bien, yo quiero vivir

Un día a la vez

(CORO) Un día a la vez, Dios mío

Es lo que pido de ti

Dame la fuerza para vivir

Un día a la vez

Ayer ya paso, Dios mío

Mañana, quizá no vendrá

Y mucha maldad

Señor, por mi bien, yo quiero vivir

Un día a la vez

(CORO)

Ayúdame hoy, yo quiero vivir

Un día a la vez

IV. The Solidarity of the Streets / La Solidaridad de las Calles

Leader: In the face of state force and the "perfidious lust for unbridled power," we celebrate the neighbors who gathered in February 2026 to protect one another.

Song / Canción: Lean on Me

Sometimes in our lives we all have pain

We all have sorrow

But if we are wise

We know that there's always tomorrow

Lean on me, when you're not strong

I'll be your friend

I'll help you carry on

For it won't be long

'Til I'm gonna need

Somebody to lean on

Please swallow your pride

If I have things you need to borrow

For no one can fill those of your needs

That you won't let show

You just call on me brother,

when you need a hand

We all need somebody to lean on

I just might have a problem

that you'll understand

We all need somebody to lean on

Lean on me, when you're not strong

And I'll be your friend

I'll help you carry on

For it won't be long

'Til I'm gonna need

Somebody to lean on

You just call on me brother,

when you need a hand

We all need somebody to lean on

I just might have a problem

that you'll understand

We all need somebody to lean on

If there is a load you have to bear

That you can't carry

I'm right up the road

I'll share your load

If you just call me

call me If you need a friend

call me call me

if you ever need a friend

call me call me call me
